When it comes to doublespeak, no one can hold a candle to Chris Keates, the General Secretary of the NASWUT. Earlier today, she gleefully announced that her members had "voted overwhelmingly" to go out on strike on November 30th. In fact, only 40% of the members balloted actually bothered to vote and not all of them voted to strike – hardly an "overwhelming" endorsement of Chris Keates's militant socialist position.
