Like most eurosceptics, I hope that David Cameron's decision to withhold Britain's consent from the "international agreement" that was drawn up at last week's summit has set us on a course which will lead to a renegotiation of our membership of the EU. If, as many critics of Cameron's actions believe, the new Eurozone Plus group will act collectively within the EU to vote through financial services regulations that will be harmful to the interests of the City, then that is all the more reason to redraft the terms of our membership.
