Will bringing back grammar schools boost social mobility?


The possibility that England may shortly see its first new grammar school in over 50 years has, predictably enough, re-opened the debate about selective education. Yesterday, for instance, Alison Pearson came down firmly in favour, while Fiona Millar shot back with an instant rebuttal. (To read more, click here.)
