It’s just as well I don’t live in Rotherham or I might face the prospect of having my four children taken away by the Labour-run Council on account of my “strong political views”.
That was the reason given by Joyce Thacker, the Director of Children and Young People’s Services in Rotherham, for removing three children from the care of their foster parents after the Council received an anonymous tip off saying they were – shock, horror – members of UKIP.
“These children are not UK children and we were not aware of the foster parents having strong political views,” Ms Thacker told BBC Radio 4’s Today programme. “There are some strong views in the UKIP party and we have to think of the future of the children.”
Never mind that the husband was a Royal Navy reservist for 30 years or that his wife is a qualified nursery nurse. Forget the fact that they’ve been approved foster parents for nearly seven years and have fostered a dozen different children. No, the fact that they’re sceptical about the benefits of unrestricted immigration makes them wholly unsuitable to be foster parents, apparently. (To read more, click here.)

So the "vast majority" of people oppose immigration, and it's not 'racist'. So what happened to Michael Howard when he tried this theory, landslide election win for the Tories was it? All those that opposed it finally got the chance to have their voices heard, not racist, just a majority view. He swept to power did he ?
Face it, the vast majority of people are either not fussed in the slightest or support immigration. It's not racist to talk about it nor oppose it, but some people that do talk about are racist. Thankfully it's not that many.
Don't mistake the angry and the vocally bitter for "the vast majority" They're just the only ones you can hear.

Look I agree with you on UKIP but please don't illustrate your example of why they aren't racist by pointing out that they have a black candidate or that ethnic minorities also oppose mass immigration.
This just supports the idea that ethnic minorities can't be racist which is nonsense. It is perfectly possible to be black and oppose mass immigration because you're racist.
There are many many good reasons why opposition to large scale immigration are not racist. The fact that non whites share that opposition is not one of them.
