Ignore, if you can, the fact that he's spelt Diane Abbott's name wrong. That's bad enough. But announcing he's going to give her his vote is even more insulting. It's tantamount to saying, "You're such a weak candidate and pose so little threat to me that I'm going to have to nominate you myself." It's the equivalent of Wayne Rooney doing an about face in England's opening game of the World Cup and tapping in an own-goal just to spare the USA's blushes. (To read more, click here.)
